1603: The Indigo Plot
Our relationships with the friends, family and colleagues we see every day are intimately linked to our relationships with the wider communities we are part of. But sometimes one or more of these connections gets fractured, and this is especially true if you’re neurodiverse or otherwise alienated from the broader cultures that surround us. My work uses play, irony and a strong basis in research to help people begin to mend these disconnections.
'1603: The Indigo Plot' is both a card game and a world-building project. It invites players into a space where they can connect authentically with others, without being confined by the limitations of the real world.
It’s about causing trouble in the royal court of King James I of England. But it’s also about something deeper: finding your authentic self by acknowledging and embracing the infinite possible selves you can choose to be at any moment.
