Unspoken
'Unspoken' is a collection that explores femininity and nostalgia through the quiet, intuitive bond shared between sisters, communicated through glances, shared moments, and unspoken understanding. Drawing on hand techniques like crochet, embroidery, and smocking, which merge traditional femininity with unexpected contrasts: volume and structure, playfulness and restraint, softness and strength.
Rooted in my upbringing within a female-dominated household, the collection reflects the creative influence of my mother, an interior designer who nurtured my appreciation for texture, detail, and emotional depth in design. Clean colour palettes and experimental fabrics echo the essence of sisterhood—pieces that complement each other while subtly contrasting, much like siblings themselves.
This collection serves as both a visual narrative and a personal manifesto. It expresses my values of authenticity and emotional connection, placing memory and belonging at the core of my creative process.
