Celebration of Death
Death is an inescapable part of the human experience, yet it remains a subject many hesitate to confront. Discussions about death tend to carry heavy associations of grief, loss, and sorrow, and are often met with discomfort or avoidance. As a result, the dead are frequently left behind in memory.
This project challenges and explores the subject of death, inspired by other cultures and traditions across the world on how they approach the subject of death in diverse and meaningful ways. It proposes a new perspective on dealing with death, one that replaces isolation with togetherness, and sorrow with celebration.
