Visual Optimism
My textile collection is a joyful rebellion— an unapologetic embrace of colour, pattern, and play. It explores fashion as a tool for self-expression and resistance, transforming garments into declarations of joy and defiance amid the complex realities women face today. Saturated hues and expressive designs channel the spirit of maximalism and dopamine dressing, where getting dressed becomes a radical act of reclaiming one’s autonomy and happiness.
Rooted in a tactile, instinctive practice, my process begins with drawing and painting. Rich, intuitive mark-making evolves into layered visual research. Embracing spontaneity, imperfection, and experimentation, each piece emerges through a dialogue between hand and material, allowing texture, colour, and form to speak boldly and emotionally.
