Do you know when to stop?
I’m a textile and hand embroidery artist working with sourced and collected materials, often discarded textiles and plastics. My practice is intuitive and process-driven, inspired by music, film, art, and everyday objects. I create anywhere and anytime—led by curiosity and a constant mental flow.
I explore themes of fast fashion, sustainability, and zero waste through the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. My work transforms what’s overlooked into something visually and emotionally meaningful, often through intricate stitchwork and tactile surfaces. Colour, texture, and pattern guide my making, while strange or imperfect details draw me in and push me to look closer.
For me, making is a way to push back against the throwaway culture of fashion by creating pieces that celebrate material value, slowness, and care. This is how I honour the value of materials, the time things take, and the care that goes into each piece.
