Ad Nauseam
At the threshold of the mouth, disintegration begins. Matter dissolves into particles, endlessly circulating, reassembling. A microplastic logic: digested yet never resolved.
Provenance collapses, objects are made senseless, converted into data. Shards permeate the body—a montage saturated with the whole world. The beast grows, swallowing. We look around and find ourselves inside its stomach, looking out. We interpret a world in flux with its own map. Nothing fits.
We consume the feed, ruminate, digest. Are we the mechanism, or the material inside it? Endless slop. The game loops: return to 'Go'. Dreamlike running, moving nowhere. The maw grows wider.

Lauren Haughey is a multidisciplinary artist based in Dublin, whose practice is driven by post-production: rearranging and recasting readymades, narrativizing existing forms. She centres her work on emerging technologies as totemic proxies for imaginaries of the future.
